Nine Tails Lab ("Nine Tails Lab", "we", "our", or "us") is an independent developer that creates and publishes mobile applications, websites, and digital tools.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, processed, shared, retained, and protected when you use any application, website, or service developed and published by Nine Tails Lab (collectively referred to as the "Services").

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications, software products, websites, and related services published by Nine Tails Lab.

Different applications may provide different features. The privacy principles described in this policy apply across our Services unless a specific application provides additional privacy information.

Information We May Collect

Images and Photos

Some applications allow users to upload, capture, or import photos in order to use features such as document photo creation, background removal, image enhancement, restoration, color adjustment, sharpening, cropping, or other image formatting functions.

Images are provided voluntarily by the user and are processed only to generate the requested result. We do not use images to identify individual users, perform facial recognition, verify identity, create biometric profiles, track users, or show targeted advertising.

Face Data and Image Content

Some user-selected images may contain a face. If a selected image contains a face, the image is processed only for the user-requested image editing or document photo generation feature.

We do not extract, store, or use face data for facial recognition, identity verification, biometric identification, profiling, advertising, or tracking.

Technical and Usage Data

When you use our Services, certain technical and diagnostic information may be collected automatically in order to maintain performance, improve reliability, fix problems, and prevent misuse.

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • Application version
  • Crash diagnostics
  • Anonymous device identifiers
  • General usage statistics
  • IP address and technical log data, where applicable

Purchase and Subscription Data

Some applications may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment card information.

We may receive limited purchase-related information, such as product identifier, purchase status, subscription status, renewal status, and anonymous app user identifiers, in order to unlock paid features, restore purchases, manage subscriptions, and provide support.

Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, your message, screenshots, attachments, device information, or purchase-related information needed to assist you.

How We Collect Information

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you when you upload, capture, import, or submit content in the app
  • Automatically from your device when you use the app, where necessary for diagnostics and app functionality
  • From Apple or subscription management services when you make or restore an in-app purchase
  • From support communications when you contact us

Third-Party Image Processing

Some image features require processing outside the user’s device in order to generate the requested result. When you use these features, the image selected by you is securely transmitted to a third-party image processing service provider, PicWish, solely to perform the requested image processing operation.

The data sent to PicWish is limited to the user-selected image required for the selected feature. The image is used only to generate the requested output, such as background removal, visual enhancement, or document photo preparation.

  • The only image data transmitted is the photo selected by the user
  • The image is sent to PicWish only for the requested image processing function
  • No facial recognition, identity verification, biometric identification, or profiling is performed
  • Images are not used for tracking, advertising, or marketing purposes
  • Images are processed temporarily and are not stored by us after processing is completed
  • The processed result is returned to the app for the user to save, export, or use

Users are informed before their image is processed by a third-party service.

How Information Is Used

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • Providing application functionality
  • Generating requested image processing results
  • Creating document-style photos requested by the user
  • Improving application stability and performance
  • Fixing bugs and technical issues
  • Managing purchases, subscriptions, and restore purchase functionality
  • Responding to support requests
  • Preventing abuse, fraud, or misuse of our Services
  • Complying with legal obligations

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We share information with third parties only when necessary to provide our Services, operate the app, process user-requested features, manage purchases, provide support, comply with law, or protect our rights.

Third-party services we may use include:

  • PicWish for image processing features requested by the user
  • Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics
  • RevenueCat for subscription and purchase management
  • Apple App Store for payment processing and in-app purchases
  • Hosting, infrastructure, analytics, or support service providers, where applicable

These third-party providers are permitted to process information only as necessary to provide their services on our behalf or as required by law.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Log Data

When you use our Services, in the event of an error or technical issue, we may collect diagnostic information through third-party tools.

This information may include device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, technical configuration, time and date of use, IP address, and other technical statistics.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Some of our applications may offer optional digital purchases, including one-time purchases, consumable credits, non-consumable content, or auto-renewable subscriptions.

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s payment terms and policies. Nine Tails Lab does not collect or store payment card details.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled by the user through their Apple ID account settings before the renewal date.

Users can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through their Apple account settings.

We may use third-party subscription or entitlement management platforms to help manage purchases, restore access, and validate subscription status. These services process limited purchase-related data only as necessary to provide that functionality.

Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, provide requested functionality, fulfill legitimate operational needs, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations.

Images processed for image editing or document photo generation are used only for the requested operation. We do not store user-selected images after processing is completed.

Technical, diagnostic, support, and purchase-related information may be retained for as long as necessary to provide support, maintain app functionality, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Data Security

We value your trust in providing information and use commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data.
